Terms for Using This Site

These Terms of Use govern access to Lee County Busted Mugshots and its reference pages. Using the site means agreeing to these terms. Anyone who does not accept them should stop using the site and obtain records directly from the relevant public office.

Lee County Busted Mugshots is privately owned and has no affiliation with a government body, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. Neither this site nor its advertising or search partners provides services covered by the FCRA, including credit, employment, insurance, or tenant screening. The pages point visitors toward Lee County and Illinois record resources; they are not a private investigation firm and this site is not a consumer reporting agency.

What Lee County Busted Mugshots Provides

This is a private reference service. It does not own or store official jail, booking, court, IDOC, BOP, or ICE records, and it cannot confirm current custody, release, or a case result. It also cannot file a request, change a record, release a person, or submit a court document.

The pages point readers to the Lee County Jail, the Sheriff's business office, the county FOIA form, and the Circuit Clerk. They also identify the separate state and federal locators and may connect visitors with third-party research tools. Each source sets its own access rules.

Acceptable Use

Access must be lawful, respectful, and limited to the information and tools made available through ordinary site functions. A user agrees to the following rules:

  • Follow all applicable federal, state, and local laws while using the pages or linked services.
  • Do not stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or target another person using information found through the site.
  • Do not use the content for a prohibited consumer decision or other FCRA-covered purpose.
  • Do not bypass authentication, probe restricted systems, or attempt unauthorized access.
  • Do not deploy bots, scrapers, or bulk collection tools against the site.
  • Do not overload, interrupt, damage, or interfere with access for other visitors.

No Consumer Reporting Service

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not prepare background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and neither the site nor its advertising partners offers a screening service. By using these pages, a visitor agrees not to apply the information to any FCRA-covered purpose, including:

  • Hiring, firing, promotion, or another employment decision.
  • Housing, lease, or tenant-screening decisions.
  • Creditworthiness decisions or insurance pricing.
  • Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government program.
  • Any other use regulated by the FCRA.

Links Outside This Service

Links may lead to Lee County rosters, arrest reports, the sheriff's pages, court portals, state corrections, federal locators, legal-aid resources, or outside search providers. The destination controls its own content, privacy practices, data, security, and availability. A link is provided for navigation and does not mean that Lee County Busted Mugshots endorses the destination or guarantees its result. Visitors should read the destination's terms before using it.

Information Provided As Is

The pages and any linked tools are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, no warranty is made about:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or current status of a page or linked record.
  • Continuous access or uninterrupted operation.
  • The absence of errors, bugs, vulnerabilities, or other security problems.
  • The scope, identity matching, or thoroughness of a partner's search results.

Custody status, court entries, public records, and agency links can change without notice. Nothing on these pages is an official statement from the Lee County Sheriff's Office, Lee County Jail, Circuit Clerk, IDOC, BOP, ICE, or another government agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lee County Busted Mugshots and the people who operate it will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other loss arising from access to or use of the site, its content, or a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

A user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lee County Busted Mugshots, its operators, and its content or service partners from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from the user's access, misuse, violation of these terms, or violation of another person's rights.

Ownership of Site Materials

The site's text, layout, graphics, logo, code, and other original materials belong to Lee County Busted Mugshots or the applicable content partner. Except where law or a written license allows it, a visitor may not copy, republish, distribute, sell, modify, reverse engineer, or create a derivative version of those materials without written permission.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version becomes effective when it is posted on this page, unless the posted text states a later date. Continued use after posting means the user accepts the revised language.

Access May Be Revoked

Access to all or part of the site may be limited, suspended, or blocked at any time and for any reason, with or without advance notice. This includes action taken to protect the service, its visitors, its sources, or its legal rights.

Illinois Law Controls

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. A dispute arising from the site or these terms must be filed in a court located within Illinois, unless applicable law requires another venue.

If One Term Fails

If a court finds a provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected language will be narrowed or adjusted only as much as necessary to make it enforceable while preserving the original intent.
